Castle Training System
The balance system is designed to encourage the horse/pony to come off the forehand and work through the back bringing the hindquarters underneath to find balance and flexibility.
It should be used as part of the daily training routine being introduced slowly , first in walk, then trot and when the horse/pony is settled, canter. It is best when used regularly for short periods of time.
The balance system offers a range of settings. Lower positions work the horse/pony's back muscles in isolation. When the horse/pony is working in a free and relaxed way the higher positions can then be introduced to work the back and base of the neck muscles.
