For some horse owners, owing an excitabe or nervous horse can have a huge impact on what they can and cannot do with their horses.
Some horses have different triggers, for some it will be arriving at a show ground or race course or the competition atmosphere that pushes them over the edge, whilst for others it can be simply seeing horses in the distance out hacking. Whatever the cause, nervousness, mariness, excitability, apprehension and irritability can be detrimental to the horses performance under saddle and lead to other health issues including muscle tremors and tying up.
CH Pro MagCalm Maintenance
Contains two forms of magnesium. The first compound is a very small amino acid that when dissolved is readily absorbed through the intestine wall and quickly builds up magnesium in the body for a rapid calming effect.
The second compound, magnesium aspartate is regarded as the Aston Martin of magnesium salts. It is quickly absorbed and will keep magnesium levels topped up so the horse will remain calm on a long term basis.
These two compounds have been chosen over other traditional forms of magnesium such as sulphate, calcium magnesium and magnesium oxide because they deliver 12mg of magnesium per feed which is the most a horse can store at a quicker absorption rate.
